What is a dynamic QR code?
Unlike static QR codes, dynamic QR codes redirect through our servers. This means you can change the destination URL anytime — even after the QR code has been printed.
Do QR codes still work if I change the URL?
Yes. The QR code always points to scanely.io/r/your-code. We handle the redirect, so changing the destination is instant and the printed QR code stays the same.
What data do you track per scan?
Country, city, device type (mobile/desktop/tablet), browser, operating system, referrer, and timestamp. IP addresses are hashed for privacy — we never store raw IPs.
How fast are the redirects?
Under 50ms globally. We run on Cloudflare's edge network with 300+ locations worldwide, so your visitors are redirected from the nearest server.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from your dashboard. Your QR codes will continue to redirect on the free plan, but analytics will be limited.
What happens if I exceed my scan limit?
Your QR codes will still redirect — we never break your links. But new scans won't be tracked until the next month. Upgrade anytime to increase your limit.
